Adam Bird

CEO & Founder One Diary   |   LinkedIn

Adam is an active member of the Nottingham Tech scene as an entrepreneur, advocate and participant for over 15 years. He’s experienced the highs and lows of entrepreneurship with his most recent notable high being Esendex the company he founded with Julian Hucker in 2001. Together they grew Esendex from Adam's attic room in Beeston into an international text messaging service provider with offices around the globe. This resulted in Esendex being the subject of a private equity led management buy-out in the summer of 2013.

Adam is only happy at the edge of his comfort zone and he is back doing it all again with a new start-up, One Diary. He now has to act on, and put into practice, the advice and experience he’s been sharing with young entrepreneurs in the city over the past years.
